Cory Cousineau was appointed President of Voyageur Aviation in October 2021.
Cory joined Voyageur in 1994 and has held respective key operational and commercial positions during his tenure including the role of Chief Operating Officer and lead the commercial operating divisions of the company.
Cory has been instrumental in the acquisition of key contracts that have led to significant growth of the organization over the past 20 years. These contracts include international long-term charter contracts with the United Nations, and several aircraft special mission contracts in both the corporate and defence industry sectors.
Sara joined Voyageur Aviation January 2020 and was quickly appointed to CAO and Vice President of Finance.
Prior to joining Voyageur, Sara was VP Corporate Services and CFO at North Bay Regional Health Centre (a regional acute care hospital). Throughout her career Sara has gained extensive experience leading organizational continuous quality improvement initiatives to streamline processes, implement productivity improvements and financial controls, increase efficiencies, optimize team performance, and reallocate resources to support the strategic direction of an organization.
Sara is a Certified Professional Accountant (CPA, CMA) and holds a bachelor’s degree in science and MBA (Finance) from Dalhousie University, and has over 20 years of executive and senior leadership experience.
Ole Fisker was appointed Vice President, Flight Operations of Voyageur Aviation in June 2021.
Having joined Voyageur in 1996 as a First Officer for our Medevac operations, Ole has held multiple positions within the organization including Chief Pilot and Director of Flight Operations, before being appointed into Vice President, Flight Operations.
Ole continues to maintain flying proficiency on the Dash 8 and CRJ aircraft and is a Transport Canada Accredited Check Pilot on multiple aircraft types.
Chas Eveson was appointed Vice President, Maintenance and Engineering in May 2020.
Chas’ tenure with Voyageur spans 20 years beginning as a Maintenance Apprentice and holding multiple positions including Director of Heavy Maintenance, before being appointed to now the Vice President of Maintenance and Engineering for operations both domestic and abroad.
Chas was successful in and continues to hold the Minister Delegate – Maintenance from Transport Canada. He is a proud and active member of multiple College Program Advisory Councils, to provide guidance and recommendations to post secondary institutions for the delivery and improvement of Aircraft Maintenance programs being delivered.
Carl Kumpic was appointed Vice-President, Defence & Government Programs in February 2023.
Carl’s career within the aerospace industry spans over 35 years through diverse organizations within both the civilian and defence sectors.
In 2019, Carl joined Chorus Aviation Inc. as Vice-President Marketing & Sales, then in 2023, moved into the role of Vice-President Defence & Government Programs for Voyageur directing strategic focus on building business growth in this market segment.
Carl is an active member with the Canadian Association of Defence & Security Industries (CADSI), Former Chair of the Board of Directors with the Atlantic Canada Association of Defence Association (ACADA) and has served as Chair of the MRO Committee with the Aerospace Industries Association of Canada (AIAC).
Gary Gilbert was appointed Vice President, Avparts of Voyageur Aviation in May 2020.
Gary has over 25 years of aviation sales and customer experience, and many years in materials management, logistics, part sales, and planning.
Prior to joining Voyageur Gary lead the Smart Parts Power by the Hour program at De Havilland, formerly Bombardier. Gary joined Voyageur as a Director of Part sales in Jan 2020, and was quickly promoted to his current position.
Conor Sheridan was appointed to Vice President, Commercial Aircraft Programs in January 2023.
Conor joined Voyageur upon graduation from Wilfrid Laurier University with a Bachelor Business Administration Degree in Finance and Economics and has held multiple business development and commercial positions at Voyageur most recently as Director of Sales and Marketing.
Conor continues to be a key part of Voyageur’s growth in aircraft leasing, capitalizing on the capabilities within the Chorus family.
